This weeks challenge is to blog!

I really have no idea what to blog about not much exciting going
on right now.So I've decided to tell on myself I was a really bad
girl today!I wanted a doughnut sooooooo bad and I ate it!
I feel so guilty I was doing so good and it really wasn't all that
great it was just here and calling my name!LOL

The rest of the day I will be good
Change that the rest of the week I
will be good.I have to be for ME!!!!

Weigh in today!

Well I lost 1 more pound that's a total of 6 pounds!
I was hoping to lose faster but honestly when I think
about it when I lose weight fast it finds me pretty
fast!LOL So hopefully this weight that I feel like I'm
losing sooooooo slow may not come back at all(crossing
my fingers)I would like to get a scale that weighs half
pounds but we just can't afford it right now so I'll take
my 1 pound loss and keep going.
Okay now I'm rambling I know sorry

1. Do you feel your eating habits that ended you into this challenge are a direct result of habits formed during childhood? (Please explain)

Maybe a little!When I was young I could just about eat anything I wanted.I just find it hard now because my family likes to
eat.

2. Tell me about your living situation. Are you married? Kids? In College? What is your life like OUTSIDE of weightloss?

Married for 15 years I wouldn't trade him for anything
I have 3 sons Albert will be 12 in December
Jordan will be 10 in October
Bradly is 7
We enjoy going camping as much as we can

3. If you were given a magic wand that you could use one time to do one thing, what would you use it for?

I'm going to be honest here the first thing that came to me was good health for my family and friends

4. What is your favorite thing about this time of year? Least favorite?

The temp not to hot not to cold I like that and I love to look at the falling leaves
I really don't dislike anything about fall it's one of my favorite seasons

5. You have a day off, no responsibilities, so what will you do with it?

Wow I'm going to pretend dh is off at the same day going on a long motorcycle ride
with him and just enjoying each other all day

6. What is YOUR sin food?

brownies(I haven't made any lately I don't think I could say no to them

7. Your in a foul mood, what lifts you out of it?
Taking a walk going online

8. Your in a good mood, what keeps you there?

My dh my kids

9. What is one of your biggest struggles right now?

In weightloss?I'm actually doing okay slowly but I have a feeling if I take it off slowly
maybe it will stay off

10. Your motivation is running low, where do you find your refill?

Not much to exciting except for one weekend during fall break we take 4 days and go camping buy a small mom and pumpkins for
the boys to carve just have a really good time

My sister and neice I'm hoping maybe the next challenge I can get them to join

18. How did you find GAG, and what made you committ to join? Sheila posted about it on facebook
and I happened to see it and thought that's what I need

I'm honestly happy right where I am right now in the future I'm hoping to get a good job but I'm doing okay right now

Weigh in today!

Well I weighed in today and I am so excited I am down 3 lbs for the week!
I feel as hard as I'm working I should be down more but since I lost
nothing last week.I'll take the 3 lbs lost that's a total of 5 lbs in 3 weeks.
Not bad I now weigh 155.So I'll take it.

This is the second weigh in I am so excited I went from 160 ~ 158 !!!!
I will do the same or better this week!
I want to thank you all for the encouraging words.
And for telling me to eat I'm doing better still not going
over 1000 calories most days but not starving either.
That's a good thing right?

Today eats and fun!

Well today I actually ate breakfast I had a half of
whole wheat pita with scrambled egg and 1 slice of
turkey bacon.
For lunch I had the other half of the pita bread
with a little turkey and a slice of fat free cheese
for snack I had some cocoa roast almonds(the ones
in the 100 calorie pack)
We we're at six flags Kentucky Kingdom theme park
and walked and walked and walked some more
On the way home we stopped at my favorite restaurant
Tumbleweed but I was good I asked to order of the kids
menu and they let me!Yay so I enjoyed my food but didn't get way to full
and I still only had 1200 calories today

Just wanted to say today hasn't been quiet as hard
as yesterday but I'm still way below what my calorie count
says I can eat

Popcorn for lunch
cantaloupe for snack
minute maid juice bar
1/2 of a boneless skinless chicken breast
small baked potato
cottage cheese just enough to put on potato

That comes to 572 calories today!!


So what should I add ? What is missing?
I am still a little hungry but not near as much as
yesterday!
Thanks to all that gave me advice
I really feel encouraged so thanks again!

The challenge for labor day

As some of you have seen I'm not very good at this so the yesterday me probably would have just not eaten and been miserable like now.But the new me starting tomorrow after I go grocery shopping even though I have no labor day plans as of yet.Would bring a fruit and veggey tray so at least I could munch on something.
And I found a recipe a year ago and I really like it.So I would bring that too!
I hope this works.

3 Bean Tacos


recipe ingredients
1 tsp. olive oil
1 cup diced onion
1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
1/2 cup diced green bell pepper
1 Tbsp. chili powder
2 tsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. ground cumin
1 garlic clove — minced
1 cup canned chickpeas (garbanzo beans), rinsed and drained
1/2 cup canned black beans, rinsed and drained
1/2 cup canned pinto beans, rinsed and drained
1 (8-ounce) can no salt added tomato sauce
12 taco shells
3/4 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
3/4 cup diced tomato
1/2 cup finely shredded reduced-fat sharp Cheddar cheese
1/2 cup salsa

recipe directions
Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add onion and next 6 ingredients (onion through garlic), and sauté 2 minutes. Add chickpeas, beans, and tomato sauce. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer 20 minutes or until thick. Prepare taco shells according to package directions. Spoon 1/4 cup bean mixture into each taco shell. Top each with lettuce, 1 tablespoon tomato, 2 teaspoons cheese, and 2 teaspoons salsa.

I think it would be awesome in pita bread YUM

Help I am starving!!!!!

OK tell me if I'm wrong?My main downfall on all diets is
I think I'm on a diet can't eat to much.I'm hungry all day
I go to bed hungry and wake up hungry!
This can't be good for me I know it's making me feel like
crap!!!For example yesterday I did not take pictures but I had
nothing for breakfast(I know probably my first mistake)for lunch
I had a Michellianios(not sure of spelling)little tv dinner of green peppers and rice says it's 270 calories and 4 grams of fat.Ok then I wait until supper starving the whole time!LOL Supper I fix for dh and boys pork chops in the crockpot and yummy mashed potatoes and rolls!yummy Well I ate a medium baked potato with a spoonful of fat free cottage cheese and two sliced tomatoes!Should this have filled me up?Because I went to bed starving.My poor stomach was growling and now this morning I got up and it's still growling!I guess I should feed it but I'm really not a breakfast person.
Please help me with meal ideas for me so I don't starve myself to death!
